He took the sick boy to the hospital.是对的.He took the sick boy to hospital.也是对的.
但习惯往往是：He took the sick boy to the hospital.可是这种习惯用法不符合语法啊？前两楼的回答我不太赞成，因为我记得老师说过有the是看病住院，无the是医生在医院上班，或去看望病人等，因此我觉得这里更应该遵循这个原则，而不是特指？你好。从the sick boy的角度是去hospital(没有the),但从he(主语)的角度，是送the sick boy到the hospital------他所知道的那家医院。现在，你明白了吗？谢谢你。你这样一说，我懂了，可是，现在我就觉得你说的“He took the sick boy to hospital.也是对的。”不能理解了， to the hospital明明是“he（主语）”的动词不定式，为什么还可以从the sick boy的角度讲呢？我理解能力较差，见谅啊~(@^_^@)~
