it seems that 的用法

原本这个It 是形式主语, 见下例
他好像是个学生
It seems to be true that he is a student
这样说的话, it 就很好理解了, 见下面分析：
It （形式主语）seems （系动词）to be true（表语） that he is a student（真正主语-主语从句）

可随着语言的演变,现在一般这样说了：
It seems that he is a student
这样好多学生说不清这是个什么It
其实无关紧要, 只要知道这个句型就是.有些语法书上说这个It 是个无意义的“功能词汇”, 有它“没意义”, 无它又不成句.
