take place of与instead of的区别

take place of是代替,一般都是用来表示代替（.的位置）,比如说It would be difficult to find a man to take the place of the secretary.找一个代替秘书的人会很难的.再比如说一项新的技术代替了旧的技术等.放在这里不通顺了.
instead of是（用…)代替…,(是…)而不是…,(用…)而不用…
take the place of是动词短语,表示：取代……的位置,如：
He took the place of mine as the manager.
Now computers have taken the place of many old things.
instead of是介词短语,表示“而不是……”,如：
Instead of staying at home,he went out to play football.
He went to the lecture instead of me.
